Acid Staining

Acid staining produces beautiful results by applying a liquid containing organic salt and acid on concrete.  The acid mixes with the minerals already in the cement and causes a chemical reaction which changes the color of the cement.  The result is a marbled color effect that will never fade.

Acid staining can be used anywhere where you would use normal concrete:  patios, walkways, pool areas, driveways, basements and other high-traffic areas.

Correctly preparing the area to be acid stained is very important.  If the concrete is not cleaned properly, or if substances such as oil, glue, or paint are not removed entirely, the stain will not penetrate the cement.
