home owners and businesses today. The reasons for its
popularity
What is Stamped Concrete?
Stamped concrete is a stamp or
finish that is placed on
concrete while it is wet and moldable. Chemical
hardeners and pigments are worked into the concrete surface,
then textures and patterns are imprinted on the cement with
a stamping process to
create the look of natural stone or other natural materials
(slate, wood, fossils, shells, etc.)
Once cleaned and cured,
the decorative concrete is given a coat of sealant.
The sealant is used to protect and beautify the finish.
